Welcome to Sylhet Sand. These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for the use of Sylhet Sand's Website and our sand supply services. By accessing this website and using our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full.

1. General Conditions

Sylhet Sand is a premier supplier of construction sand (including Sylhet Sand 2.5 FM, Fazilpur Sand, Chattak Sand, Vulaganj Sand, and Sunamganj Sand) operating within Bangladesh. These terms govern all sales, deliveries, and communications.

2. Orders and Pricing

• Quotes: All price quotes provided via our website, email, or phone are estimates based on current market rates and the specified delivery location in Bangladesh. Prices may fluctuate based on fuel costs, tolls, and mining regulations.
• Volume Measurement: Sand volume is measured in cubic feet (CFT) at the point of loading. Settling during transit is a natural occurrence.
• Payment: Payment terms will be agreed upon during order confirmation. We typically require an advance payment for bulk orders, with the balance due upon delivery (Cash on Delivery / Bank Transfer).

3. Delivery Policy

We strive to deliver all orders within the agreed timeframe. However, deliveries in Bangladesh are subject to external factors:

• We are not liable for delays caused by strikes (Hartals), political unrest, severe weather conditions (floods, heavy rain), or extreme traffic congestion.
• The buyer is responsible for ensuring the delivery site is accessible for heavy dump trucks. If a truck cannot access the site, the buyer must arrange alternative unloading at their own expense.
• Demurrage charges may apply if our trucks are held at the delivery site for an unreasonable amount of time during unloading.

4. Quality and Returns

We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality sand. However, as a natural resource, slight variations in color and texture may occur.

• Buyers are encouraged to inspect the sand's quality and Fineness Modulus (FM) before unloading at the site.
• Once the sand is unloaded from the truck, it is considered accepted by the buyer. Returns or refunds are generally not accepted after unloading.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Sylhet Sand, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website or our materials. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific delivery in question.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sylhet for the resolution of any disputes.
